A day on quiet ground
The trek begins not far from the historic walls of Lucca and follows the majestic line of arches into the countryside. It is a journey from urban elegance to wild natural beauty. From the “Parole d’oro,” you will enjoy a serene atmosphere where the sound of flowing water and the shade of ancient trees create a perfect retreat.
This hike is a must for those who appreciate architectural elegance, hydraulic history, and the quiet beauty of the Tuscan landscape.

Easy
This is a beginner-friendly hike! There’s nothing too tricky here—as long as you’re comfortable being on your feet and navigating a few different types of ground, you’ll be just fine.
Extended version
For those looking for a greater challenge, I offer an extended route to a panoramic viewpoint. From this vantage point, you can see the entire city of Lucca and its surrounding plains. Please be aware that this extension is significantly more demanding and involves steeper, more rugged paths; therefore, sturdy hiking boots are strictly required for safety and grip.
